Tammie Simpson (Women's Basketball)

Tammie Simpson was a four year starter and one of the most dominant post players ever for the Lady Hawks. She is the third all time leading scorer in Lady Hawks' history with 1,907 points. During her career she led the Lady Hawks to 62 wins.

Simpson is ranked third all time in field goals made with 797 and shot 84.3% from the free throw line during the 1984-85 season which ranks third all-time for season free throw percentage. Simposon was selected to the District 25 team at the conclusion of the 1984-85 season and was an All-American nomiee following the 1985-86 season and that same season earned District 25 Player of the Week honors.
