Mike Nance played at Shorter University from 1983 to 1985, ending his career at Shorter as one of the most prolific shooters in school history. Mike was the all-time single field goal percentage leader in a single season at 58%. He was also the all-time free throw percentage leader in a single season, missing just one free throw in 1985 with a resulting percentage of 98% from the line. During his career at Shorter, Mike was voted onto multiple all-tournament teams and as an MVP in multiple tournaments.
