GREENVILLE, S.C.- The Shorter women's basketball program was one of the two teams from the Conference of the Carolinas named to the WBCA Academic Team Honor Roll as announced by the league Tuesday afternoon. 

The Hawks had a historic 2024-25 season, boasting the largest turnaround in the NCAA with 18 wins than the previous season. The Hawks compiled a 21-7 overall record as well as going 15-5 in conference play. The Hawks made a deep run in the postseason, where they fell in a tight contest to Chowan in the quarterfinals game. Alongside their historic season, the Hawks achieved an impressive 3.425 team GPA, showcasing their hard work in the classroom.
