ROME- The Shorter Hawks continue their journey in the postseason as they prepare to face Lees-McRae in the quarterfinals of the Conference Carolinas Championship on Friday.

• The Hawks aim to keep their postseason going as they face off against Lees-McRae. 
• Shorter punched its ticket to the quarterfinals with a defensive masterclass in a 59-40 win over Emmanuel this past Monday, in which they held the Lions to 25% shooting from the floor. 
• The Hawks defeated the Bobcats earlier this year in a 63-55 win at home. 
• Shorter looks to feed off the hot hands of Chelsy Singleton and Amiya Redus. 

SCOUTING THE BOBCATS

• The Bobcats handled business in their second-round match against Ferrum, defeating them 60-48. 
• Lees-McRae boasts the best offensive production in the conference, averaging 75.4 points, which is six points higher than the second closest. 
• The Bobcats also force the most turnovers per game with their high-pressure defense, forcing 22 per game. 
• Nadiya Hairston will look to lead the way for LMC, as she leads the team with 18.1 points and 5.5 rebounds.
