GREENVILLE, S.C.-
Aijah Manning of the Shorter Women's Basketball team was named the Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Month for her respective performances from this past month.
Through the first five games of the season, she has recorded four double-doubles, bringing her season averages to 15.8 PPG and 11.2 RPG. Across the past month, Manning has been dominant in all areas of the court. Her standout performance was against Southern Wesleyan, where she recorded a season-high 21 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Following that, she had another solid performance against Montevallo, contributing a solid 16 points and 10 rebounds. The freshman from McDonough, Georgia, has established herself as a key component of the Lady Hawks' success this season.
Manning and the Hawks will be back in action this weekend as they host Miles College this Saturday at noon.
