ROME, Ga.- The Shorter Volleyball team returns to Rome this Saturday as they welcome conference foe Chowan. 


First serve is slated for 12 p.m. ET, and the match will be streamed to the Conference Carolinas Digital Network. 


NOTES

• Shorter is coming off their second straight sweep after downing Young Harris Wednesday night. 
• Caroline Sivills and Emily Drier have been a dynamic duo as of late, leading the Hawks offensively. 
• The Hawks continue to climb the leaderboards, ranking third in total kills with 654 and being second in digs with 954. 

SCOUTING THE HAWKS

• Chowan enters Saturday at 4-9 overall while going 3-3 in conference action. 
• The Hawks have competed well in conference play, with all three of their losses in conference coming in five-set matches. 
• Alexa Fricker will lead the charge for Chowan, having a team leading 132 kills entering Saturday. 

SERIES HISTORY

• Shorter is 2-0 all-time against Chowan, handling them in last season's match on the road in a sweep.
