ROME, Ga.- The Shorter Volleyball team remains on the road this week as they face Young Harris on Wednesday. 


First serve is set for 6:00 p.m. and the match will be streamed to the Conference Carolinas Digital Network. 


NOTES

• The Hawks are coming off a successful 2-0 week, downing SWU at home in a 3-2 win while earning their first sweep over Mount Olive. 
• Freshman Emily Drier has been a force for the Hawks, totaling 41 kills, 49 points, and 12 digs across the week. 
• Drier also leads the conference in hitting percentage at .392
• Shorter is hoping to get closer to being at above .500 as the season progresses. 

SCOUTING THE MOUNTAIN LIONS

• The Mountain Lions enter Wednesday at 6-5 overall and 0-4 in conference. 
• Young Harris is dangerous on the first serve, ranking second in the conference in service aces per set (2.22). 
• The Mountain Lions are looking to get back in the win column after dropping their last four. 

SERIES HISTORY

• Shorter is 3-1 all-time against the Mount Lions, sweeping the season series last year.
