ROME, Ga.- The Hawks will be back in Rome this week as they host Southern Wesleyan on Tuesday for midweek action.
First serve will take place at 6 p.m. ET, and the match will be streamed on the Conference Carolinas Digital Network.
NOTES
- Shorter is looking to get back in the win column after dropping their last two matches to UNCP and Francis Marion.
- Caroline Sivills has been a force this year, ranking fifth in the conference with kills (118) and third in blocks (35).
- Defensively, the Hawks have found great production from Caitlyn Sutton and Alexis Williams. Sutton ranks second in digs (186), while Williams is second in blocks (39).
- Tuesday's match marks just the second home match this year for the Hawks, having played a majority of their contests on the road.
SCOUTING THE WARRIORS
- SWU has had a dominant start to 2026, winning five of their first seven, including a 3-0 start to conference play.
- The Warriors have outscored conference opponents 9-2 so far, with two of their three wins being sweeps.
- Kaylon Chapman leads the Warriors with 55 kills, pacing their balanced attack offensively.
