ROME- The Shorter Softball team wraps up home play this season as they host Southern Wesleyan this Wednesday in a doubleheader series. Both games will be streamed to the CC Digital Network and live stats will be available.

• The Hawks fell to Young Harris last time out in a narrow series sweep, losing 5-3 in both games one and two. 
• Shorter is looking to close out their home stand on a high note with just one series remaining after Wednesday. 
• The Hawks will continue to rely on Alex Hollingsworth and Rylee Gattis as the duo provides a steady presence at the plate. 

SCOUTING THE WARRIORS

• Southern Wesleyan has been dominant this season for the Warriors, entering Wednesday at 31-11 and 19-4 in conference play. 
• The Warriors sit atop the Southwest standings, going 13-1 in division play. 
• SWU enters Wednesday as winners of eight straight, holding opponents scoreless in three of those eight wins.
