- Shorter is coming off their first conference series sweep in two dominant showing against Belmont Abbey.
- The Hawks were prolific in the circle, with Rylee Gattis and Hayden Joyner leading the way.
- Gattis recorded a season high six putouts, while allowing just one run in game one as Hayden Joyner allowed no runs with three strikeouts in game two.
- Alex Hollingsworth continues to excel, batting .338 with a team-leading 15 RBI and two home runs.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAIN LIONS
- Young Harris enters Wednesday at 11-11 and 3-1 in conference play, with a dominating sweep against Erskine last time out, in which they outscored them 21-0 in both games.
- The Mountain Lions will lean on Julia Moore, who is fourth in the conference with a 1.99 ERA with a 5-2 record.
- Young Harris looks to build some momentum after going 3-6 in their last nine games as they head into the heart of conference play.
