ROME- The Shorter Men's Basketball team will begin their postseason this Sunday as they travel to Franklin Springs, Georgia, to face off against Barton. The game will be streamed on the CC Digital Network, and live stats will be available.

NOTES

• The Hawks will make their first-ever appearance in the Conference Carolinas Tournament on Sunday as they travel to Franklin Springs to face Barton. 
• This marks the first postseason trip for the Hawks since the 2017-18 season. 
• Shorter's 10 wins mark the most since the 2017-18 season as well as the most under the Wade Anderson era. 
• Donovan Shangase and Chris Bibbs led the Hawks this season as Shangase averaged 19.7 points and Bibbs with 19.3 points. 

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS

• The Bulldogs had a successful campaign,  going 13-15 while going 11-9 in CC play. 
• Barton officially earned the seventh seed in the tournament after downing Francis Marion in their season finale, 87-80. 
• The Hawks look to avenge their early-season loss to the Bulldogs with hopes of making a deep run in the postseason.
