• Shorter snapped their six-game losing streak with an offensively proficient 91-86 win over Mount Olive this past Saturday. 
• Donovan Shangase led the way with 26 points and four assists on 10-14 shooting. 
• David Compere was a huge help off the bench, pouring in a season-high 14 points. 
• As a team, the Hawks shot 60% from the floor, marking a new season-high in percentage. 
• The Hawks will look to carry this momentum into the remainder of the season.

• Converse is fighting for a spot in the conference tournament as they enter Wednesday. 
• After dropping their last six, the Valkyries have bounced back with wins against Francis Marion and Erskine.
