ROME, Ga.- The Shorter Volleyball team will be back on the road this weekend as they take on North Greenville on Friday at 6 p.m. and King on Saturday at noon. Both matches will be streamed to the Conference Carolinas Digital Network.
NOTES
- Shorter's four-match winning streak came to an end this past Tuesday, falling to non-conference opponent Montevallo in four sets.
- The Hawks have had a great start to conference play, winning five of their first seven matches.
- Freshman Emily Drier has made her impact for Shorter, leading the conference in hitting percentage (.395).
- Shorter is looking to get above .500 on the road with two great opportunities this weekend.
SCOUTING THE TRAILBLAZERS
- The Trailblazers enter Friday at 8-8 overall, going 4-4 in conference action.
- North Greenville has won three of their last four matches, coming off a 3-1 win against King this past Tuesday.
- The Trailblazers have been successful at home this season, going 3-1 at Hayes Gymnasium.
SCOUTING THE TORNADO
- The Tornado have an 8-7 record this season, going 3-5 in conference.
- King will host Converse Friday night before facing Shorter on Saturday.
- King has been strong defensively this season, leading the conference in opponent assists and opponent kills.
SERIES HISTORY
- Shorter is 1-3 all-time against North Greenville, falling in a reverse sweep in last season's meeting.
