ROME- The Shorter Hawks (7-10, 5-6 CC) will begin their home-stand this week as they host the King Tornado (5-12, 3-6 CC) on Thursday. Tip-off will begin at 7:30 PM and will be streamed on the CC Digital Network.

• The Hawks went 1-1 across the week with a resounding win against Young Harris before coming up short on the road to Southern Wesleyan. 
• The Hawks seventh win of the season, marks the most wins they have had in a season since the 2016-17 campaign. 
• After struggling the last few games, Ja'Myas Davis has found his groove, pouring in 19 against Young Harris, and a career-high 24 points against SWU. 
• Shorter has shot significantly better from the charity-stripe, hitting on 85.3% in their last two contests. 
• The Hawks are looking to find their mark as the regular season nears its end. 

SCOUTING THE TORNADO: 

• King has struggled as of late, dropping their last three contests. 
• Shorter is looking to keep the Tornado, off the glass, as they average a conference-best 39.3 rebounds per game. 
• Defensively, King forces the most turnovers per game in the CC, as their pressure results in 14.6 per contest. 
• Jordan Akal will lead the charge for King, as he enters Thursday averaging 17.9 points.
