Shorter Women's basketball Head Coach
LaSheena Brooks announced the signing of 2 transfers and 2 freshmen, with 6 additional players who committed to the Women's Basketball program. Rounding out the 2024 class with 10 new additions to the team as they enter Conference Carolinas for the first year of competition.

Tionna Baker is a 5'8 guard from Dalton, Georgia transferring from D1 Hofstra University. She averaged 3.5 ppg and 3.3 rebs per game. She shot 37% from the field. She graduated from Cleveland State Community College, where she averaged 18 ppg and 6.7 rebs per game. She shot 43% from the field. She earned All Tennessee Community College Athletic Association offensive POY and All TCCAA first team.

Emariah Grant is an Alabama native and a JUCO standout from Wallace State Hanceville. She carried her team to the Alabama Community College Championship, where they finished as the runner-up. She averaged 15.3 ppg, shooting 38% from the field and 33% from the 3-point line.

Amiya Redus is a 5'8 guard from Alabama. While at Hazel Green High School, she won three straight Alabama 6A State Championships. She averaged 10 points a game and scored over 1,000 points in her decorated career. She was named All-State 2
nd team and All-Huntsville 1
st team.

Chloe Phillips is a high school graduate of Oakland High School. She averaged 6.3 points and 5.2 rebounds last season.
Jahmyah Pettway and post Ashley Washington are coming to the Hill form Wallace State Community College/ Pettway graduated in the 2022-2023 season and averaged 9.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. Washington also averaged 9.8 points and grabbed 5.7 rebounds per game in the 2023-2024 season. Semaj'a Jackson transferred in from Community Christian College, where she redshirted.
Rounding up the recruiting class features three Georgia high school graduates who will join the team. Forward, Charla Young of Douglasville High School where she averaged 11.6 points and 9.7 rebounds, point guard Jordyn LeGrier of Southwest Atlanta Christian who averaged 10 points and 4 assists, and shooting guard, Alexus Hammond who sat out last year due to injury at Columbus High School.
