ROME, Ga. — The NCBWA Division II All-South Region selections have been announced, highlighting the standout performances of Shorter's Alex Brodie, Jacob Pajer, and Seth Crowe, three athletes whose contributions on the baseball diamond have been nothing short of exceptional, and earned them each NCBWA Division II All-South Region Second Team selections.

Alex Brodie— NCBWA Division II All-South Region, Catcher
Alex Brodie's impact behind and at the plate has been undeniable this season. In 36 games, Brodie boasted a solid .338 batting average with 44 hits and 49 RBIs. 24 of his 44 hits were for extra bases, showcasing his power with 11 doubles, 4 triples, and 9 home runs. Behind the plate, he sported a .980 fielding percentage, catching 9 runners stealing. Brodie's consistency and power at the plate earned him recognition as a First Team All-GSC selection, solidifying his status as one of the top catchers in the region.
Jacob Pajer— NCBWA Division II All-South Region, Outfielder
Jacob Pajer's versatility and athleticism were on full display throughout the season. As an outfielder, Pajer proved to be a force to be reckoned with, boasting a remarkable .394 batting average over 46 games. His offensive contributions were crucial, tallying 71 hits, including 14 doubles, 1 triple, and 4 home runs, while also driving in 55 runs. Pajer's ability to get on base consistently, coupled with his impressive speed—24 stolen bases—made him a constant threat on the base paths and a valuable asset to the Hawks offense. In the outfield, Pajer had a .983 fielding percentage with 116 putouts and 3 assists. He also earned Second Team All-GSC honors this season.
Seth Crowe— NCBWA Division II All-South Region, Starting Pitcher
Seth Crowe established himself as a dominant force on the mound this season. With 14 appearances, including 12 starts, Crowe compiled an impressive 10-1 record, showcasing his ability to consistently deliver quality starts for his team. Despite facing tough competition, Crowe recorded a solid 4.93 ERA and 37 strikeouts over 87.2 innings pitched. His three complete games further underscored his durability as a starting pitcher, earning him a well-deserved spot on the All-South Region Second Team. Crowe joined Pajer with a Second Team All-GSC selection this season.
