Box Score MONTEVALLO,ALA.—The Lady Hawks traveled to University of Montevallo for the last conference series of the season. The series started out with a single game on Saturday where the Falcons came out on top with a final score of 8-1.
With the loss the Hawks fall to 4-33 overall while the Falcons improve to 16-23.
Montevallo started off with scoring one run in the first followed by scoring every inning through the fourth. The Hawks were able to get one run across in the top of the fifth when
Kaylee Combs singled to left field which scored
Sydney Poston.
The Hawks combined for nine hits with Poston leading the pack by going 4-4 while Combs added in two hits.
Kaylee George,
Kiera Dudley and
Angela Cecere all added one hit each.
The Hawks will be back at Montevallo on Sunday for a doubleheader with first pitch slated for 1p.m.
