ROME, Ga.- The Shorter Men's Soccer team returns to Rome this Saturday as they host Belmont Abbey for a Conference Carolinas match. 


Kickoff is at 3 p.m. ET, and the match will stream on the Conference Carolinas Digital Network. 


NOTES

• The Hawks fell last time out on the road, in a tight 1-0 loss to Southern Wesleyan. 
• Due to two red cards, the Hawks were only able to play eight on the field for the remainder of the contest, but were able to prevent the Warriors from scoring. 
• Shorter is looking to snap their four-game skid and get above .500 at Ben Brady. 

SCOUTING THE CRUSADERS

• Belmont Abbey enters Saturday at 2-5-2 overall, having dropped their last two matches. 
• The Crusaders currently are 1-2-2 on the road. 
• Belmont Abbey will look to rely on Patrick Wiley, who leads them with two goals and four points. 

SERIES HISTORY

• The Hawks are looking to get their first win against Belmont Abbey, losing their only other meeting in 2024.
