ROME- The Hawks cross the north border to Tennessee to face Carson-Newman on Tuesday. Earlier this season, the Eagles traveled south to The Hill where they defeated the Hawks in a 12-1 final score on March 24th. First pitch is set for 2:00 p.m. EST, with live stats available via StatBroadcast, and the game will be streamed on FloSports.


NOTES

• The Hawks are hoping to end their season on a high note after falling in a series sweep at Mount Olive this past weekend. 
• Despite the result, Wilmer Henriquez etched his name into Shorter history as he sent out his 14th home run of the year, a school record.  
• Carson-Newman hosts Shorter on Tuesday after winning their fifth straight on a weekend series sweep against conference opponent Coker University.
• The Eagles have won six straight in both February and March, and are looking to accomplish this feat for the third month in a row.
• Carson-Newman sits at 7th in the South Atlantic Conference, posting a 16-14 record in conference play.
• At home, Carson-Newman is 14-10, winning their last four on their own turf, while Shorter is 3-15 on the road, dropping all of their last seven away games.
• In non-conference play, the Hawks post a 9-2 record, while the Eagles are 11-3 in inter-league play.
• Shorter is 9-9 all-time against Carson-Newman after dropping their most recent match-up in a 12-1 final at home on March 24th of this year.

EAGLES TO KEEP AN EYE ON

• Junior Infielder Logan Floyd continues to dominate for the Eagles, leading in average (.418), hits (66), RBIs (49), and home runs (9). In non-conference games, he's batting .511 on the year.
