All games will have live stats available via StatBroadcast and will be streamed on the Conference Carolinas Digital Network.

NOTES

  • Erskine enters the Hill on Friday on a six-game win streak, taking their most recent victory against non-conference Claflin University on Tuesday after sweeping Chowan last weekend.
  • Erskine sits at 18-19 overall and 12-9 in conference play while posting an 8-10 record on the road.
  • Shorter is 8-8 at home as they look to crack the .500 mark.
  • Shorter is 3-1 all-time against Erskine, taking their most recent matchup in an 8-6 final on April 26, 2025.

ERSKINE PLAYERS TO LOOK OUT FOR

  • Senior infielder Mason McManus has been the backbone of the Erskine offense, hitting a team-high .441 while driving in 41 runs in 56 hits. In his last four games, McManus has picked up eight hits and 10 RBIs with two home runs to boot.
  • Junior lefty Chase Grube is the frontline man on the mound for the Fleet, posting a 4.76 ERA in 39 innings this year. He boasts a great K/BB ratio as well, retiring 40 batters while only surrendering 19 bases on balls. He tossed a season-high seven innings against Chowan last weekend, along with administering another season-high 11 punchouts. Last weekend's start against Chowan was the second time this season Grube had a K count in the double digits, as he also recorded 10 strikeouts against Emmanuel in late February.
