The Hawks earned the doubles point with Carlos Tubio and Kalle Johannssen earning the 6-4 win. Georgios Tsioumas and Kamron Palacios closed their match with a strong 6-1 victory to give Shorter the early advantage. 

Shorter kept rolling in singles, as Tsioumas picked up the 3-0 retirement win. Despite the early advantage, the Hawks struggled to keep up with ABAC, battling hard but falling in a 5-2 defeat. 
 

UP NEXT

The Hawks will begin conference play as they host Erskine next weekend for a 1:00 PM match.
