BRISTOL, Tenn. - The Shorter Men's Tennis team fell to King University Saturday afternoon in a 5-2 defeat, making their season record 2-17 overall.
The Hawks opened strong in doubles play, securing the point with wins in two of the three matches to take an early 1-0 advantage.
In singles action, Shorter struggled to maintain momentum, earning just one victory while King claimed five matches. Despite the early doubles success, King controlled singles play to secure the 5-2 team victory.
