ROME, Ga. – The Shorter Men's Tennis team fell to Young Harris Friday afternoon in a 6-1 defeat. The loss drops the Hawks to 2-15 overall.
The Hawks battled in doubles play but were unable to secure the point, as the Mountain Lions took all three matches by scores of 6-2, 6-4, and 6-3.
In singles action, Georgios Tsioumas earned the lone victory for Shorter, providing the Hawks' only point of the match. Young Harris controlled the remainder of the singles matches to secure the 6-1 team win.
