ROME, Ga.– The Hawks remain on the road this Tuesday as they travel to Montevallo for a midweek matchup against the Falcons.
 

First pitch is set for 3:00 PM, with live stats available via StatBroadcast and the game streamed on FloSports.

• The Hawks look to snap a four-game skid after being swept by No. 24 UNC Pembroke last weekend. 
• Despite the recent stretch, Shorter has found success in non-conference play this season, posting an 8-1 record. The Hawks will look to regain their rhythm at the plate after scoring just seven runs over their last four games.
• Montevallo enters Tuesday's contest at 16-19 overall, coming off a series win over Lee that included a comeback victory after trailing 15-2.
• The Falcons rank third in the Gulf South Conference with 277 strikeouts this season and have recorded five wins over ranked opponents, highlighted by an 8-0 win over No. 8 West Alabama.
• Shorter holds a slight edge in the all-time series, leading 10-8, and earned an 8-5 win over the Falcons last season.

• Jack Fitzgerald leads the Falcons offensively with a .333 batting average, 10 home runs, a .465 on-base percentage, and a 1.158 OPS.
• On the mound, Montevallo features a strong one-two punch in Luke Holbrook and Zach Wyatt. Holbrook carries a team-best 3.35 ERA with 41 strikeouts in 51.0 innings, while Wyatt owns a 4-3 record with a 5.46 ERA across 56.0 innings and leads the team with 61 strikeouts.
