EMORY, Ga.- The Shorter Hawks Men's and Women's Track and Field teams put together a solid showing at the Emory Invitational, recording multiple quality finishes.
In the field events,
Jenna Rolen earned a seventh-place finish in pole vault with a height of 3.15 meters to add to her impressive season.
Nathaniel Williams added more to his resume with an 11th-place overall finish in the Men's Discus, with a distance of 43.44 meters.
Several Hawks earned quality finishes in the track events, as Jenna Welch represented well, finishing fifth overall in the Women's 200 Meters with a time of 24.93 seconds. Bonshavior Bean recorded solid finishes in the Men's 200 Meters, finishing third in the #9 heat with 22.74 seconds and third in the #3 heat in the 400 Meters at 49.88 seconds, which was good for 15th overall.
Cameron Yeary had a great outing in the Men's 100 Meter, placing third in the #4 heat with a blistering time of 10.96 seconds.

Both programs will be back in action as they compete in the Morehouse Relays on March 26.
