GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Shorter Men's Indoor Track and Field program was selected to finish eighth in the Conference Carolinas Preseason Poll announced by the league on Tuesday morning.
The Hawks received 69 points in the poll. Shorter is followed in the poll by Emmanuel (67 points) and Young Harris (66 points). Mount Olive received the most points with 173 points and 6 first-place votes to finish the season as the number one-ranked team in the conference, followed by Converse, which received 162 points.
Paul Schedlbauer,
Landon Richardson, and
Nakobi Spurrier were named as athletes to watch by the conference this season in their respective events.
