WINSTOM SALEM, N.C.- The Shorter Men's and Women's Track and Field team wrapped up competition in the Conference Carolina's Chamiponships on Monday, having quality finishes across the board.
On the women's side,
Savannah Welch earned a top five-finish in the 200 meter dash, posting a time of 24.67 seconds. Welch's time is the second fastest in school history and is an NCAA Division II Provisional Mark.
Nashari Edwards posted an eighth place finish in the 60-meter hurdle finals, competing well against quality opponents.
The Shorter men battled hard against multiple quality opponents, garnering several good placements in the preliminary rounds of the Championships.
Both programs will look to carry their momentum into the outdoor season as they look to build upon a solid foundation.
