SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- Brayden Gibson of the Shorter Wrestling team competed well for the Hawks in the NCAA DII National Championships in Sioux Falls.

Gibson battled hard in his first match, falling in a tough 14-8 decision victory to his opponent from the University of Mary. Gibson continued to battle in the following round, but would be defeated in a 17-0 tech fall victory from Central Missouri.

Gibson has had a remarkable season for the Hawks, helping them to quadruple their win totals from the previous season and becoming the first Hawks to earn a spot in the NCAA Championships.
