ROME- The Shorter wrestling team will have their road finale as they travel to Franklin Springs to battle against Emmanuel and Davenport University in a dual scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM on the CC Digital Network.

• The Hawks are aiming to close out their road slate on the right foot as they near the end of the season. 
• Jonathan Fogus and Riley Davis have had solid outings for Shorter this season, competing well against quality opponents. 
• With a win over Emmanuel, the Hawks have the potential to overtake Emmanuel for fourth in the West standings. 

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS

• Emmanuel has competed well in conference action, going 6-5 in CC matches. 
• The Lions suffered two tough losses to King and Lander their last time out.  
• Davenport enters Thursday at 1-4 overall. 
• The Panthers have struggled in GMAC action, dropping their last three. 

SERIES HISTORY

• The Lions edged out the Hawks 27-20 in last season's first-ever meeting between the two. 
• This marks the first meeting between Shorter and Davenport.
