Box Score TUSKEGEE, Ala.- The Shorter Women's Tennis team fell Saturday afternoon to Tuskegee in a 6-1 defeat. 

The Hawks battled in doubles, but could not secure a point as Tuskegee bested them. Sharick Guiza Hernandez earned a well-fought 7-5, 7-6 win in singles to get the Hawks on the board. The Hawks continued to fight, going down to the tiebreaker set in two matches before falling. Shorter would be defeated in a 6-1 final.

The Hawks will push forward as they return to Rome and host Tusculum on Wednesday at 1:00 PM.
