GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Shorter Women's Tennis team was selected to finish 12th in the Conference Carolinas Preseason poll announced by the league Friday morning.
The Lady Hawks received 36 points in the poll, overcoming Ferrum with 19 points and King with 6 points. Lees-McRae was picked to finish first with 160 points (7), receiving while Erskine obtained second place with the same number of points, but only 5 first-place votes.
The three Hawks selected as players to watch by the conference are, Sharick Güiza Hernandez, Danielle Hernandez, and Laura Martín.
