GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Shorter Men's Tennis team was selected to finish 10th in the Conference Carolinas Preseason poll announced by the league Friday morning.
The Hawks received 34 votes in the poll, followed by King who also had 34 points, and Chowan who received 31. Belmont Abbey was picked to finish first for the fifth straight year with 140 points, receiving 10 first-place votes, followed by Francis Marion, which received 123 points, with three votes.
Preston Spake, Carlos TubÍo, and Agustin Yap were named athletes to watch at the conference this season for their performances on the court.
