ROME--Lady Hawks' tennis improved to 7-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play after sweeping West Georgia, 9-0, Monday afternoon at home.
Shorter led 3-0 after doubles play as each Lady Hawk team earn victories.

Sicquena Sinclair earned the win 8-1 over Kat Burger / Kelly Arsenault.
In singles, Laurent defeated Northrup in straight set (6-0, 6-0). Gaborit topped Brown (6-1, 6-1). El Hsissen won (6-0, 6-1) over Stevens, Chipe defeated Maples (6-1, 6-0), Beltrando won (6-4, 6-2) against Burger, and Sinclair topped Arsenault (6-2, 6-2).
The Lady Hawks will be back in action Wednesday, March 12, as they travel to Jacksonville, Ala. to take on Jacksonville State. Matches begin at 2:00pm.
