Full Men's Results

Atlanta, Ga.--Saturday afternoon Shorter tennis travelled to Atlanta to take on SCAD-Atlanta; the Lady Hawks won 6-3, while the Hawks lost 6-3.

Shorter's women improve to 4-2 on the season, while the men fall to 1-5 overall.

The Lady Hawks trailed after doubles play dropping two of the three matches, with the win coming at number two as Samya El Hsissen / Aurore Beltrando topped Emma Billyeu / Elisa Freitas 8-4.

In singles Shorter won all but one match, as Emily Wilson fell to Natalie Palmer (6-0, 6-2).

The Hawks also trailed 2-1 after doubles, as the team of Robert Watson / Marc Guerry defeated Julian Guzman / Chandler Saunders 8-5.

In singles, Shorter won the matches at number one and two. Guerry defeated Mikalah Vea (6-3, 6-1), and Louis Tourtois topped Guzman (9-6, 2-6, 6-1)

Tennis will be back in action Wednesday, February 26, as they travel to Young Harris to take on the Mountain Lions; matches begin at 1:00pm.
