ROME--Shorter men's tennis took to the court twice this weekend; travelling to Montgomery, Ala. to take on Auburn Montgomery on Saturday, and then returned home to host Georgia Southwestern on Sunday; losing both by scores of 8-1

Shorter now sits at 1-3 on the season, and 0-1 in the Gulf South Conference.

Against AUM, the Hawks won only one match; the team of Alexis Catillon and Louis Tourtios topped Josh Reason and Othman Lalami, 9-7.

On Sunday, Shorter's one win came at #1 singles, as Marc Guerry topped Valentin Demande (2-6, 6-2, 6-4).

The Hawks will be back in action Tuesday, February 18, at 2:00pm as Emory University visits the Walt Attaway Tennis Complex.
