BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Shorter men's golf team wrapped up competition at the King Fall Invitational Tuesday afternoon, finishing second overall with a two-round team total of 555 (-5).

 
The Hawks opened the tournament with an impressive 8-under 272 in the opening round before carding a 3-over 283 in the second round to finish at 5-under for the tournament.
 
 
MJ Dickinson led the way for Shorter, finishing tied for third overall at 4-under. Dickinson opened with a 5-under 65 before shooting a 1-over 71 in the second round.
 
 
Inigo De Anta finished tied for sixth at 2-under, carding consecutive rounds of 1-under. Nathan Martin finished tied for 12th at even par after shooting 1-under in the opening round and 1-over in the second.
 
 
Tommy Harris finished tied for 25th at 5-over, carding rounds of 3-over and 2-over. Neil Patterson rounded out the Shorter lineup, finishing tied for 39th at 8-over. Patterson opened with a 1-under round before carding a 9-over in the second round.

The Hawks return to action on October 19 to compete in the Patriot Fall Classic, hosted by Lander.
