CALERA, Ala. – The Shorter women's golf team recorded a fourth-place finish at the Full Moon BBQ Invitational (Women), closing the three-round tournament with a team score of 940 (306-317-317) at Timberline Golf Club.

 

Leading the way for the Hawks was Hayden Price, who earned a top-10 finish by placing 10th overall with a 54-hole total of 226 (+13). Price opened the tournament with a 75 before carding a 73 in the second round and finishing with a 78.

 

Taylor Young narrowly missed a top-10 finish, placing 12th overall at 229 (+16). Young posted rounds of 74, 80 and 75 during the event. Ava Lynn finished 24th at 241 (+28), while Kentyn Clark tied for 30th with a score of 246 (+33). Cadey Maness rounded out the lineup in 39th place at 253 (+40).

The Hawks will look ahead as they compete in the Lander University Fall Invitational, beginning September 21.
