• The Hawks are still searching for their first win of the 2026 campaign. 
• Shorter battled hard with Catawba on the road last time out, falling victim to a run by the Indians, being defeated in a 19-9 final. 
• Shorter has seen vast improvement as the season has pushed forward, finding their offense through players such as Cassidy Jones and Anderlyn Buford.

• Converse enters Tuesday at 2-3 overall, falling to Newberry in a tough 11-9 loss last time out.
