ROME, Ga.- Shorter University is pleased to announce the naming of Addy Talkington as the head coach of the Women's Lacrosse program. 

Talkington, a native of Virginia, comes to Rome after a storied career as a player for Reinhardt University from 2020-2024. As a player, she accomplished three regular season championships, four conference championships, and four trips to the NAIA National Tournament in which she was a apart of the 2024 national championship team. Talkington attained her BA in Theatre Arts from Reinhardt in 2022 and received her master's in Creative Writing in 2024. 

"I am excited to get right to work!", said Talkington. "I look forward to creating lasting relationships with my student-athletes and the campus community, as well as building a strong culture for this program".
