Lady Hawks win against Tennessee Wesleyan University

Athens, TN — The Shorter Women's lacrosse team traveled to Tennessee Wesleyan University to take on the Bulldogs and came home to Rome, GA with a tremendous win!

Game Summary: The Hawks yet again walked out onto the field excited for another win! Attacker Cassidy Jones was the first to strike within the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Hawks defense was an incredibly strong unit. Several ground balls were picked up and brought to the attacking side by Valerie Backer and Natalie McCullough. The Hawks defense also held the Bulldogs off for two shot clock violations.
