GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Shorter Women's Indoor Track and Field program was selected to finish seventh in the Conference Carolinas Preseason poll announced by the league Tuesday morning.
The Hawks received 104 points in the poll, tying with Barton for seventh place. Shorter is followed in the poll by King (95 points) and Southern Wesleyan (86 points). Mount Olive was picked to finish first with 196 points, receiving 14 first-place votes, followed by Converse which received 180 points.
Jenna Rolen,
Nashari Edwards, and
Tracy Yelegoiyee were named as athletes to watch by the conference this season in their respective events.
