ROME, Ga. — Sophomore standout
Taylor Young made an impressive start to her season by claiming the Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Week award. Young secured the honor after a stellar performance at the Full Moon Invitational, hosted by Montevallo. She finished sixth overall, posting a two-round total of 149. Young carded a solid 74 in the first round and followed it up with a 75 in the second round, showcasing consistency and skill in a competitive field.
This recognition adds to Young's growing list of accomplishments. As a freshman, she was named Second Team All-GSC and dominated weekly awards in the Gulf South Conference, earning GSC Freshman of the Week honors four times and GSC Golfer of the Week once.
