INMAN, S.C.- After several weather delays and rain-soaked conditions, the Shorter Women's Golf team competed well in the Converse Fall Invitational hosted by the Woodfin Ridge Golf Club, placing 13th overall. 
Shorter performed well despite the delay, with several Hawks recording quality finishes to help score a 343 for the tournament. 
Taylor Young led Shorter, tying for 11th overall after shooting a 72. Young also tied with the best par-3 scoring average for the tournament at 2.75 (-1). 
Kentyn Clark accompanied Horton, placing not far behind by tying at 23rd overall after carding an 80.

Leah Anderson each tied for 71st as the pair shot a 93 to round out the Hawks. 
The Hawks will enter the spring season with high hopes, having achieved several quality finishes.
