TIGERVILLE, S.C.- The Shorter women's golf team competed well in the opening round of the Upstate Fall Intercollegiate.
After the opening round, Shorter sits at ninth place out of 15 schools competing.
Kentyn Clark had a solid showing in the opening round, carding a 79 (+7) for 15th place overall.
Taylor Young follows right behind, shooting an 80 (+8) for 18th place in the tournament.
Taylor Haines and
Leah Anderson have competed well, with Haines scoring an 86 (+14) and Anderson shooting an 89 (+17).
Raina Horton rounds out the Hawks as she finished the round with a 93 (+21).
Shorter will compete in round two tomorrow morning as they aim to climb the leaderboards and produce a quality finish.
