Women's Soccer Downed by Young Harris at Home in 2-0 Final

ROME, Ga.- The Shorter Women's Soccer team fell to Young Harris Wednesday night at Ben Brady Field in a 2-0 defeat.  


The Hawks fall to 1-3 on the season overall. 


The visitors put pressure on the Hawks early, firing a multitude of shots in their direction. The Hawks would hold out until the 20th minute, when the Mountain Lions found the back of the net to take the 1-0 lead. The Hawks unfortunately allowed another goal in the 24th minute, falling behind 2-0. 



The Hawks fought hard, but could not find their footing offensively, as the Mountain Lions continued to control the contest well into the second half, defeating Shorter in a 2-0 final.
