OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – The Shorter Men's Golf team wrapped up play Tuesday afternoon at the Music City Invitational, finishing third overall in a strong field.
Inigo de Anta led the Hawks with a ninth-place finish, shooting -1 for the tournament. He opened with an even-par round, followed by a +2 in round two, before closing strong with a -3 in the final round.
Jack Floyd also turned in an impressive performance, placing 14th overall at even par. Floyd carded a +2 in the opening round, bounced back with a -2 in round two, and finished with an even-par round.
Nathan Martin finished 40th at +7. He got off to a strong start with a -3 in round one and followed with an even-par performance in round two before a +10 in the final round.
Tommy Harris rounded out the scoring for the Hawks, finishing at +8 overall. Harris posted rounds of +8 and +2 before closing with a solid -2 to cap off the tournament.
UP NEXT
The Hawks will look to carry momentum into the Conference Carolinas Championships on April 20–21.
