• The Hawks put forth a solid effort against Lees-McRae Sunday afternoon, defeating them 3-1 in an all-around team win. 
• Claudia Loyola continues to lead the defensive effort for Shorter, averaging double-digit digs.
• Ava Medina remains among the conference leaders in hitting percentage, entering the week at .308.

Erskine Notes

• The Fleet have had a slow start to the season, dropping eight of their first ten matches. 
• Erskine is led by Kelly Burdeau, who enters her seventh season as the head coach of the Fleet.
• The Fleet are looking to find their footing in conference play after dropping two of their first three matches.  

Series History

• Shorter leads the all-time series against Erskine 7-0, with their last match-up ending in a five set thriller that went the way of the Hawks.
