ROME, Ga.- The Shorter Women's soccer team ended today's contest against Erskine College in a 0-0 tie.
Both teams were trading shots early, as each side found several opportunities offensively.The Hawks stood their ground against the Fleet who had seven total shots in the first half alone.
Karis Eccleston continues her defensive stand totaling nine saves with four in the first half.
In the second half, the Hawks continued to fight with
Gianna Estavillo leading the way as she helped create opportunities. Both sides battled hard, but no one managed to find the net as the Hawks forced their second draw in a row.Â
The tie makes Shorter 1-5-2 on the season
