Box Score SPARTANBURG, S.C.- The Shorter men's soccer team fell to Converse on the road Saturday afternoon in a 10-1 defeat. 

The Valkyries dominated the Hawks for the entire first half, netting seven goals to put the Hawks behind at the half. Joao Beer found the back of the net for the Hawks in the 56th minute on a penalty kick to get Shorter on the board. Defensively, the Hawks continued to struggle as Converse added in three more goals in the second half to make it a 10-1 final in Spartanburg. 

The loss drops Shorter to 1-11 overall and 1-8 in conference play.

Shorter will stay on the road as they face Emmanuel this Wednesday at 6:00 PM.
