ROME, Ga. –The Shorter women's soccer team fell Wednesday afternoon to Young Harris in a 6-0 final at home.
The Hawks struggled to keep up with the Mountain Lions early, as Young Harris recorded five shots on goal. Young Harris scored their first goal of the half at the 36:50 mark, putting Shorter behind a goal at halftime. The Mountain Lions added five more goals in the second half, while also totaling 25 shots, putting them over the Hawks 6-0.
This puts Shorter at 1-7-2 on the season while being 0-6-2 in conference.

Shorter will go on the road to Spartanburg, South Carolina, to face Converse University on October 18th, at 2:00 PM.
